Dear Jasmine,
I am in the 9th grade and I am failing one of my classes. It is my math class. I really don’t like math and I always get a failing grade. I feel like I try my best but I feel bored when I am in class. I got my report card a couple of weeks ago and have been scared to tell my parents. I want to get better grades but I am not sure if I can. I feel like I will always fail in math.

Dear Kendra,
It is not uncommon for many people to get lost in the world of mathmatics. I would encourage you to talk to your parents about this problem. Let them know that you have been struggling with math and have been really scared to talk to them about it. Ask your parents if you could perhaps get a tutor or if they could help you with your math homework. Even a meeting with your teacher may help the situation.
You won’t always breeze through each class easily and that is okay. What is important to do is to try your best and find ways of improving yourself. Getting a tutor or more help on the subject may be the best bet in this case. Good luck!
Always here,
Jasmine
