I have this friend and I have known her since I was like 5 or 6 years old, she lived here for 8 years then moved. While she was here, we were so care free and I was kind of in her shadow, and now that she moved even though I regret her moving, I am kind of glad she did.Now I have a new life. I was depressed the first 5 months or so then I kind of got over it. When I went to hang out with her and she changed. Now that I have a boy friend who she doesn’t like but then she expects me to like her boyfriend. I have never even met her boyfriend. What should I do? She thinks that the whole world revolves around her.

Dear Annie,
I think that it is important for you to be honest with your friend, even if she seems to be unreasonable at times. Let her know that you don’t know whether or not you like her boyfriend because you have never even met the guy! Let her know that if you ever do meet him, then you could get a better idea of whether or not you do but until then your opinion still stands.
