My girl game over for tea and some cookies and as we were ready to leave, she asked me for a baggie, I asked her what for and she said she wanted to take them.
There were only 3 and she wanted to take them home with her. It caught me off guard. I, at a later time, mentioned to her that if she had asked me permission to take the cookies home, I would have given her more especially as they were for her kids. She asked me why I was pissed about 3 cookies, I said its the principle. She didn’t get it.

I do think you are making a bigger deal out of this then you need to. I think you may have control issues because you mentioned that she should ask you permission to take the cookies. When in reality, she asked you for a baggie to take them in, I don’t think she or anyone would think that it would meet a objection of any kind.
I think the way you are approaching it sounds like you may be somewhat controlling and perhaps you need to take a step back and realize how this situation is. Life is tough enough as it is, don’t let a few cookies turn into an unnecessary argument.
