I know that my dad looks at porn, he has since I was little. Recently, however, I found some numbers for some women next to the computer and decided to do a search for them on the Internet.
I found out that the girls numbers were for escorts and I am not sure if he is cheating on my mom or not. I also found a porn magazine in his drawer when I was doing laundry. He is always on the computer and when I enter the room he closes up the screens and deletes his history.
I feel really guilty because I know all this and still don’t tell my mom, whom I am close with. I really don’t want to hurt her. It is making me really uncomfortable being around him knowing what I do know now but I am lost on what to do.

Dear Alice,
I would say that chances are that your mom knows something is going on. At least I would like to think that. However, I do think it is important for you to talk to your mom because what your dad is doing around you is making you uncomfortable.
If he is indeed cheating on your mother, you would want her to find out now instead of later. You don’t want your mother to be possibly infected with any disease your father may bring home. The sooner you talk to her about this, the better.
Like I said, chances are your mother probably already has an idea of what is going on because if he is so negligent around you, he is probably the same around her.
