Dear Jasmine,
There was this guy that I liked and all my friends said he liked me too. One night he went with my best friend to one of his friend’s house and he was intimate with her.
Since she was the first person out of my friends to lose her virginity, this was big news to me especially since she did it with a guy that I liked and she knew I liked him. I didn’t know about this until maybe a week later because they all kept it a secret from me.
I don’t know how she could do this to me! All I want to do right now is get back at her and do things with guys she likes or should I just pretend that I don’t know the truth?

Dear Melinda,
What your friend did was not very nice obviously but for you to want to get back at her is rather immature. Be the bigger person and realize that you are above all those childish games. For her to lie to you shows what kind of person she truly is and you should think about whether or not she is truly your best friend.
I think that you should do the mature thing and talk to her and ask her why she lied to you and ask her why she would do that to you. Stemming from that conversation, you can decide whether or not your friendship can withstand this type of betrayal and if you can move on from it and trust her again.
Always here,
Jasmine
