I am attracted to my boss. We are both married. I would never cross that line! But I was wondering if he was attracted to me as well. I treat him like I would any other co-worker. I talk to him, ask him how his day is, play jokes on him.
This man doesn’t really talk to me. I have been employed with him for a year now. He hasn’t touched me, not even accidentally. It feels like he avoids me. But on e-mail, he will banter with me, we try to out wit each other and try to be the person that has the last word.
He compliments me regarding how I work when other employees are around. It appears he is more at ease with me when other employees are around. I have never given him any indication or inkling that I am attracted to him, I just treat him like I do everyone else.
He on the other hand pretty much avoids me like I am the plague. He has never been mean to me. I am wondering if he is attracted to me, so that is why he avoids me.

Dear Suncha,
You should not be concern with your boss because you are married and whether or not he is attracted to you is not an issue because he hasn’t even shown any interest. I think it is really strange that you are so concern about his interest in you. It is a professional working environment and your boss is trying to be professional, as should you if you want to remain at your job.
Perhaps you need to look at your marriage because if you are looking else where for attention, you are probably not getting it at home. Hopefully this will open your eyes and give you the opportunity to talk to your husband and work on your marriage, instead of having wandering eyes and thoughts.
